Our Story

Our organization grew out of a simple but powerful dream: to find a way to reach communities that normally wouldn’t have access to the kind of enrichment programs we believe every child deserves. Our passion for education began with chess and art, after discovering just how powerful they can be in shaping a child’s thinking, confidence, and problem-solving skills. We began by building ChessArt Kids, delivering quality chess and art classes in South Florida for the past 20 years. We then started imagining how we could bring learning directly to students who needed it most, and that vision gave life to MindMove.

Driven by a passionate, family-led team, MindMove blends the energy of fresh ideas with the wisdom of years in education. Every decision we make and every program we design, is guided by a simple mission: to create opportunities that inspire learning, build confidence, and make a real difference in the lives of young people. Together with our partners, supporters, and community, we are shaping a brighter future- one student, one skill, and one move at a time.

Our Strategy

MindMove delivers high-quality enrichment programs through strong partnerships with trusted organizations, including long-standing leaders in youth education, such as ChessArt Kids. By collaborating with experienced educators and community-focused institutions, we ensure that our programs are engaging, effective, and accessible to learners of all ages. Funding from donors plays a direct and critical role: it allows us to bring programs to schools, community centers, and other local facilities, providing hands-on learning experiences.

We design our programs to meet the unique needs of each community, working closely with partner sites to tailor content, schedule classes, and host events that maximize participation and impact. Every contribution helps expand access, reach more students and seniors, and strengthen the communities we serve. Our approach is practical and measurable- ensuring that donor support translates into real-world outcomes.

While we focus on delivering what is possible today, our strategy is guided by a bigger vision: to dream boldly and expand opportunities for every learner. We aim to reach more communities, inspire more minds, and create programs that are not only educational but transformative, leaving participants with skills, confidence, and inspiration that last a lifetime.
